First things first: avoid picking your blemish. Treat breakouts with a spot treatment or use a hydrocolloid patch. If you pick, it only becomes harder to cover using makeup, so please, resist the temptation.

Start by applying your shade of Jones Road What The Foundation to skin. This formula is super buildable, which makes it great for covering blemishes and evening out skin tone while keeping things looking natural.

Next, grab the Jones Road Face Pencil that matches your skin tone. If you use a lighter shade (like what you use under your eyes) you will only highlight what you’re trying to cover. The pencils make it really easy to get precise coverage. Apply the pencil directly to the spot and gently blend with your fingers until the spot is covered. If you have oily skin, you can use a skin-tone correct powder to set everything if needed.
