My Carry-On Wellness Essentials

I finally have my carry-on packing down to a science. Whether I’m jumping on a quick flight or jet-setting across the globe, here is what I always have with me on the plane.
Alka Powder Acid and Green Powders
A scoop of green nutrient powder mixed with a glass of water helps to make the system more alkaline and less acidic. My favorite powders right now are WelleCo Super Elixir Alkalising Greens and AlkaMind Daily Greens. Pack some for those early morning flights to start your day off with an extra burst of energy.
Peppermint Gum
Helps prevent ear popping during takeoff or landing, and keeps breath fresh if you don’t get a chance to brush your teeth on the flight.
Ginger Capsules
Ginger is my go-to for preventing motion sickness. It can also help relieve an upset stomach. You can get it as a gum, capsule or chew.
Melatonin
When there is a big time change, melatonin is a life saver. I’ll take these before bed the first few nights to help me adjust to a new sleeping schedule.
Probiotics
Gut health is important, especially when you're traveling somewhere new. The EVOLUTION_18 Probiotic is packed with 8 strains of healthy bacteria to support digestion and fight bloating. Plus, these packets are ideal for travel.
Magnesium
If I’m taking an overnight flight, or travelling to a new time zone, I always pack a magnesium supplement to help me sleep. It helps my body and mind to unwind.
Bitters
These are great to calm a crabby tummy. You can even mix them with sparkling water for a refreshing drink.
Charcoal Capsules
Activated charcoal capsules work to detox the body, whether that is after a heavy meal or a night of too much drinking, by trapping and absorbing toxins. It’s always a good idea to have these in your carry-on.
Apple Cider Vinegar
You can travel with tablets or small bottles of ACV. It's a great way to start the morning (dilute it with water) to lower blood sugar levels.
Peppermint Essential Oil
Great for digestion and congestion. I’ll take a peppermint oil capsule to help with bloating or inhale the oil directly to help my sinuses.
Grapefruit Essential Oil
This is a clean, fresh scented perfume for the skin. It revives me throughout the day.
Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender oil is my travel de-stressing secret. I inhale this oil to get me feeling relaxed and also to help with any headaches on the road.
Lip Balm
I don’t leave home without a lip balm let alone get on a plane without one. Re-apply as often as you need to prevent chapped lips from the dry airplane air.
Face Oil
It’s important to stay hydrated when you’re traveling, and that means your skin too. I’ll apply a face oil before getting on the plane, halfway through my flight and again right before I land. You’ll step off the tarmac with a nice glow.
Apricot Oil
I love this to nourish and moisturize skin on the go. Put what you need in a travel bottle and you'll be all set.
