Recipe: Low-ABV Green Juice Cocktail
Written by: Alexandra Perron, Managing Editor
Not ready to commit to Dry January? Looking for a “healthier” way to imbibe in 2021? We have the drink for you. Created by bartender Victoria Canty (she hails from New York City’s beloved Dante and is the brand ambassador for Lo-Fi Aperitifs), this green juice meets botanical cocktail is guaranteed to hit the spot.
“This drink gives you all of the vitamins and minerals of a perfectly blended green juice with a little extra umph,” says Canty. It’s bright, light and flavorful thanks to the Dry Vermouth from Lo-Fi Aperitifs, a line of vermouths and amaro made with California wines and natural herbs and botanicals. She recommends serving it at brunch or anytime you’re looking for a low-ABV afternoon sip. Cheers!
Good as Green by Victoria Canty
-
1.5oz Lo-Fi Dry Vermouth
-
4oz green juice (recipe below)
-
Pinch of celery salt
-
Lemon wheel, cucumber ribbon and mint for garnish
Combine ingredients in an 8-12oz glass with ice.
Victoria's Green Juice
-
1 cucumber
-
1/2 pineapple
-
1 green apple
-
1/2 fennel bulb
-
1/2 lemon
-
8 small/medium sized celery stalks
Make the juice in a Breville centrifuge style juicer.
Don’t have time to make your own juice? Canty says you can sub your favorite pre-mixed green juice from the grocery store — just make sure it has pineapple in the mix.
