Being a makeup artist is about education. It is just as much about understanding products and how to use them as it is about teaching others how to do their own makeup once they leave your chair or set. With Jones Road, I set out to distill my expertise into a collection of multi-purpose essentials and show you how to use them.
I’m excited to introduce two new looks inspired by real women wearing Jones Road. Jeanne's look is all about a warm, bronze glow and Raven's puts a pop of pink front and center.
Raven's Cool Pink Look
Using the warmth of your fingers, apply Miracle Balm to forehead and cheeks.
Pink-toned eyeshadow can make you look tired, so it's important to cover any redness under and around your eyes using a concealer or color-correcting pencil. Swipe Just A Sec in Cool Pink from your lash line to 3/4 of the way up your lid.
Apply Sparkle Wash in the inner corner of the eye, under brow bone, and on top of Just A Sec. (Also, with pink shadow, always wear a black mascara to define the eyes and make them pop.)
Pat Miracle Balm on lips and smooth Cool Gloss on top.
Jeanne's Bronze Glow
Start by applying Miracle Balm to cheeks, forehead, nose, chin, and under the neck. It’s important to add it under your neck to keep your look consistent.
Apply Sparkle Wash across the lids. For a more muted look, apply Sparkle Wash by wiping the excess off the applicator wand on the back of your hand and apply with your finger.
Using your finger or a brush, apply Just A Sec to the inner corner of the eye and under the brow bone.
Finish by smoothing Cool Gloss across your lips.
