Whether you want to create a dramatic look or just want to make your eyes stand out, liner is the key.
Liners come in a variety of formulas and each creates a different effect. Winged liner adds a little extra drama to the eyes. It can be done with all liner types but is easiest with a pot of gel liner and a thin, tapered brush. Here's how to do it:
- Apply liner from the outer corner of the eye all the way across the upper lash line to the inner corner, going thinner with the line as you move toward the inside.
- To create the wing, extend the line from the outer corner so that it goes up and out, tapering to a soft point. Make sure the wings on both eyes are mirrors of each other.
Note: The length of the wing is up to you. You can draw it farther out and straighter or create an upward flick.
