How To: The Multitasking Power of Blush

Written by: Bobbi

I have always found multiple ways to use makeup (brown eyeshadow to cover your roots and fill in brows, clear gloss on cheeks and lids) and blush is no exception. For this look, I used a peach blush on the cheeks, eyes, lips and as an all over skin tint — heres how:

Eyes

If you have sensitive eyes, be careful about the products you use there. I love how this blush gave her a subtle wash of color and made the eyes pop.

Cheeks

A blush that matches the color of your natural flush is always a good choice and from there you can add a brighter pop. This peach tone feels really natural and still adds depth.

Lips

I used a dusting of the blush to help mattify the lips. You want to go light whenever you're adding powder to the lips to avoid a really flat look.

All Over Color

For an all over skin tint, I applied the blush using a big fluffy brush. It helps to even out the skin tone — just don't forget the neck!
