Bobbi's Tips for Wearing Jones Road Miracle Balm in Disco

Miracle Balm in Disco has arrived — and it’s unlike anything we’ve done before. Get to know our newest addition to the Jones Road Miracle Balm family below…
The Inspiration
Inspired by the disco balls of the 1970s (think Saturday Night Fever) and the glamorous looks that were spotted on the dance floor, Disco is a high-shine illuminating balm infused with gold flecks and silver pearl. It’s like popping a bottle of champagne. Here’s a playlist of my favorite disco songs to help get you in the mood.
How to Wear It
While our other shades of Miracle Balm can be used as an all-over skin tint, Disco is truly a highlighter. Use it to add sparkle and glow to eyes, cheekbones and lips. It’s also stunning on the legs and arms, so make sure you pack it for your next beach vacation.
For Night
This look on Nina is subtle, cool, and perfect for the holiday party season.
Always start with skincare. I used Eye Cream and Light Moisture Cream to prep her skin. I used The Face Pencil in #17 under her eyes and spot corrected any redness in her skin using The Face Pencil in #18. I filled in her brows for definition using The Brow Pencil in Brunette.
On her lids, I used a light shadow as a base (The Best Eyeshadow in Cream or Peachy Nude is great for this). Then I used The Best Pencil in Black to create a tight line close to her top lashes, then added a few coats of The Mascara. Using The Detail Brush, I applied Miracle Balm in Disco to her lids, keeping it away from the liner to avoid smudging. You can build up to create your desired look.
I used a natural looking blush and added Diso high on her cheekbones to add sparkle. I also applied a little bit on her lips.
For Day
So many people are afraid of sparkle and glitter during the day, but I’m a big fan. The key is to keep the rest of your makeup subtle. On Mollye, it was all about a no-makeup-makeup look.
I started by applying Light Moisture Cream and Eye Cream, and using The Face Pencils in #14 and #15 to even out her skin and brighten up the under eye area. Then I applied Miracle Balm in Disco to her cheekbones. It adds this beautiful golden bronze dimension that catches the light in just the right way and really makes you glow.
On her eyes, I used The Best Eyeshadow in Champagne, which has a shimmer that really complements Disco. I added a few coats of The Mascara and filled in her brows using The Brow Pencil in Light Brunette. On lips, I used Cool Gloss in Boysenberry, with Disco layered on top. Adding some sparkle is an easy way to have fun with your everyday beauty look.
