Bobbi's Tips for Getting Your Best Brows

Natural looking brows have earned a place back in the spotlight. The days of over-tweezing (and over-filling in) have come to a close — thank goodness. A beautifully defined brow has the power to transform your look. The right shape and definition can balance out your features and frame your eyes. Follow these steps.

Brush

Brush up your brows with a brow brush.

Add definition

Define your brows by filling in any bare areas with a brush and eye shadow, brow powder, or a pencil. Choose a shade in the same tone as your brow color. If you have black hair, go with a slightly softer shade, like a dark brown. Don't use black, it's way too harsh. If you are blonde, keep the shadow in the same tone as your brow hair. Fill in starting at the inner corner of your brows and brush straight up. For the rest of the brow, brush up and over along the shape of your brow, filling in any gaps with powder. If you still have bare spots, try filling them in with an eyeliner pencil first, then add a powder on top to keep the look diffused.

TAME

Use a clear brow shaper or light hairspray to tame your brows. The product comes with a wand that you brush into your brows to apply a clear gel. If it looks too dark, use a powder brush and puff powder on top.
