Bobbi Brown's Beauty School: Everyday Simplicity

This look is how I would like to look every single day, simple white button down included. It does require a little bit of effort, more than I’m up for most days, but it’s a really simple, natural look. Here’s how to get Anna’s look...
Skin
The main thing with this look was making sure her skin was shining through. I started by prepping skin with a light moisturizer to give her a natural sheen. I didn’t want her to look cakey or too powdery. I used a very sheer foundation to even out her skin tone, letting her freckles come through. I applied coverup around her nose to hide redness and used corrector and concealer under her eyes. I set everything with a loose, peach-toned powder to warm up the complexion.
Bronzer & Blush
I used a sheer, shimmer-free bronzing powder to make sure her face and neck were the same color. I applied it using a wide, fluffy blush. After that, I added a little more bronzer with some pink in it to her cheeks.
Brows
The next step was to fill in her brows, keeping them strong. I think her face looks great with a strong brow. I added a little light ivory shadow under her brow bone to brighten up the area.
Eyes
On her eyelids, I applied some mahogany brown eyeshadow with a fluffy brush. I went from the lashline to about halfway up her lid and then blended it. I used a black-brown shadow with a damp liner brush to line her eyes and went over it with a gel liner to keep it looking sharp. I applied 2-3 coats of mascara to her top lashes and kept the bottom lashes clean.
Lips
I love her natural lip color, so I just used a colorless lip balm on her lips.
Hair & Nails
Herve, one of my favorite hair stylists to work with, gave her a blowout with just the right amount of bend in it. A sheer, classic white manicure completed the look.
