While the holiday season might look a little bit different this year, this is a look I love for a party or dinner, even if it’s virtual. It’s modern and glamorous while still feeling really natural. And to make getting the look even easier, I’m excited to introduce The Nancy Kit. Inspired by Nancy Haldia, one of our campaign models and the founder of Reya, a fine jewelry brand, this kit features all of the products you need to get her cool topaz glow.
Skin
I started by using our Face Pencils (launching in early 2021) under her eyes and to even out her skin tone. I mixed a few shades to get it perfect and invisible. Then I applied Miracle Balm in Tawny all over her skin, with extra added to her cheeks to create the look and feeling of a blush. I love that this combination gives her an overall glow and that it doesn’t look like she’s wearing foundation. Since our shoot took place in the summer and Nancy loves the beach, I made sure her face and body matched.
If you have fair skin, use Miracle Balm in Au Natural all over and Dusty Pink on cheeks. If you have deeper skin, use Miracle Balm in Au Natural or Bronze all over and add more Bronze or Tawny to cheeks.
Eyes & Brows
I wanted her eyes to have some depth, so I started by applying Just A Sec in Bronze across her lids. Make sure you start with clean, dry lids and apply using a fluffy brush (or your fingers). I applied Just A Sec in Topaz under the brow bone and added a little to the inner corners of the eyes. I finished the look with a swipe of Sparkle Wash in Midas to add dimension. These products look so good together, but they also look great on their own.
I used The Best Pencil in Brown (the full range launches in January) to line her eyes all the way around. It goes on super smooth and it’s easy to blend. On her brows, I used The Best Eyeshadow in Brown to fill in any sparse areas. I like using an angled brush to do this.
I finished up with three coats of The Mascara in Pitch Black. The curved wand gives you a lot of curl and definition. For a little extra oomph, use your index finger to push your lashes upward. Hold for a moment and release. No need for an eyelash curler. Plus, this mascara really adds lift.
Lips
On her lips, I used Cool Gloss in Mocha Shimmer over a light pat of Miracle Balm in Tawny. It’s my personal favorite, just the right amount of tint and sparkle.
