Beauty School: Bobbi's Makeup for Gray Hair

I love Melissa’s natural look and how she’s embraced her gray hair — it’s chic and modern. For this look, I really focused on brightening up her face and giving her an overall glow. Here’s how to get the look:

Face

I used The Face Pencil in Shade 8 to brighten up the under eye area and used Shade 9 to even out any redness on her skin. (Always use the lighter shade under the eyes.) With these pencils, I recommend you have two or three shades on hand to blend together and use as the seasons and your skin tone changes.

Next, I applied Miracle Balm in Dusty Rose to her cheeks, forehead, neck, and lips for an all-over glow. I love the sheer wash of color and instant glow you get from using this product.

Eyes

I used The Best Eyeshadow in Ash to lightly fill in Melissa’s brows and give them a little bit of definition. (Tip: You can use the Eye Detail Brush for this.)

Then I applied Sparkle Wash in Midas to her lids for dimension and brightness. Sparkle, when done right, works for any and every age. Sparkle Wash is great because it’s really buildable, so you can start slow and build to the look you want.

I gave her eyes some added definition using The Best Pencil in Navy, keeping the line close to her top lash line. As always, I finished with two coats of The Mascara.

Lips

I layered Cool Gloss in Original on lips over the Miracle Balm in Dusty Rose for shine.
