I love the versatility of sparkle and glitter. You can keep it subtle and make it part of your everyday look, or you can really go for it and make a statement. It all comes down to how and where you apply it. Here are some of my tips for making it work with Sparkle Wash:

Placement is Key

Glitter works on eyes, cheeks, skin and lips — but if you go for all three, you’ll overdo it. Try to keep it to two places. So if you’re wearing Sparkle Wash on your lids and tapping a little bit onto cheeks, keep your lips shimmer free. Try Cool Gloss in Original, Nude Beige, Boysenberry or Poppy Red.

Application is Everything

With Sparkle Wash, we went with a doe foot wand to make application easy. If you want a subtle wash of sparkle, use your finger to apply directly from the wand and blend onto lids or cheeks. If you want more impact, swipe the wand directly across lids and then blend out with your fingers.

Work Quickly

Sparkle Wash is formulated to stay put, which means it sets up pretty quickly. You have a little window of play time to blend and diffuse, so keep that in mind.

Don’t Be Afraid to Mix It Up

Don’t be afraid to mix shades or products. Just A Sec and Sparkle Wash work really well together to give you super dimensional shimmer. I also love adding Sparkle Wash to cheeks or the decolletage and adding a layer of Miracle Balm in Au Naturel on top. It gives the skin this really beautiful all-over glow with a hint of glitter.
