Social Media Marketing Manager

Job Overview


We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to create and execute on innovative, on-brand social media strategies and content. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, non-traditional thinker who will work with founder Bobbi Brown and the Creative team to develop the look, voice, and following of Jones Road on all social platforms.

Responsibilities
-Manage the Jones Road social media calendar, ensuring that day-to-day social initiatives are aligned with the brand identity and objectives
-Post to, and manage Jones Road brand positioning across, all social channels
-Manage engagement with social audience, including comment and direct message moderation/responses
-Partner with the General Manager and Marketing team to establish weekly and monthly growth targets, as well as strategies to ensure that targets are met
-Collaborate with the Copywriter to develop on on-brand voice for all Jones Road social channels
-Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing teams to develop and manage a quarterly social and content roadmap
-Consistently source on-brand and engaging UGC for Jones Road channels
-Partner with the Creative and Marketing teams to ideate, develop, and produce social-first photo, graphic, and video content
-Analyze, measure, and report on ongoing social media marketing efforts and track against KPIs, including followers, engagement, reach, etc., identifying areas of opportunity

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree or higher
-4+ years of social media or influencer marketing experience
-Demonstrated success leading innovative, KPI driven social media campaigns
-Experience in e-commerce or direct-to-consumer preferred
-High aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to problem solve in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment
-Experience with Dash Hudson, Asana, and other social media management platforms preferred
-Must be able to manage social platforms outside of typical work hours, including weekends and holidays

 

Assistant Product Development Manager, Regulatory

Job Overview

We are looking for a full-time Assistant Product Development Manager, Regulatory to join the Jones Road team. This role will report to the Head of Product Development.

Responsibilities
-Review ingredient lists on all product submissions to ensure they comply with Jones Road’s formulation standards, as well as any retailer and global restrictions
-Generate on pack INCI lists for all new launches, and update existing INCIs as needed
-Manage legal copy for unit cartons and labels, including briefing graphic designers and checking all new files prior to press
-Maintain PIF library for all products, including requesting information from suppliers and working with a third party to compile safety assessments
-Facilitate all product testing, including bulk / sample requests and testing lab communication (Stability/Compatibility, HRIPT, PET, etc)
-Register products in different global markets prior to launch as needed, either directly or via RP (currently Canada, UK, EU)
-Maintain lab and production standards, and maintain all corresponding files
-Lead regulatory issue management and provide updates to the management team as needed 

Qualifications


-Bachelor's degree or higher-2-3 years of regulatory / development experience
-Working knowledge of global regulation
-Experience working in the beauty industry
-Clean beauty experience is a plus
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong organizational and project management skills

Director of Customer Experience

Job Overview
We are looking for a full-time Director of Customer Experience to join the Jones Road Beauty team.

Responsibilities
-Develop and execute a holistic, data-driven customer experience strategy
-Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-time and freelance CX Associates, including makeup
artists who aid with shade matching
-Develop materials and SOPs to guide CX Associate training
-Assist the CX team in responding to incoming tickets as needed, and in troubleshooting
issues
-Collaborate with the General Manager to develop a hiring plan for the CX team that will
enable Jones Road to scale
-Ensure consistency in brand voice across all CX ecosystem interactions
-Ideate and execute upon surprise and delight initiatives for customers
-Collaborate cross functionally with the Supply Chain and Product Development teams by
sharing customer feedback and insights to inform business strategy and growth
-Identify and implement KPIs and metrics to measure customer experience quality
-Develop and manage a Jones Road customer loyalty program
-Build business cases for policy changes, process improvements, and platform upgrades
based on quantitative and qualitative insights

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree or higher
-4+ years of experience leading a team in a customer-facing role required
-Experience in direct-to-consumer or e-commerce required
-Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk required
-Beauty knowledge preferred
-Proven problem solving skills
-Experience leveraging data to synthesize customer feedback in an actionable manner
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative work environment
-Must be able to check emails and respond to “emergency” situations on weekends and
holidays

 

Director of Influencer Marketing

Job Overview
We are looking for a full-time Director of Influencer Marketing & Partnerships to create and execute upon unique, on-brand influencer strategies and partnerships. The ideal candidate is a non-traditional thinker and collaborative team member who will work with founder Bobbi Brown to elevate Jones Road across all touchpoints and raise brand awareness.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct a multi-tiered, data-driven influencer marketing strategy on a global scale for launch campaigns, ongoing seeding, and paid partnerships
- Execute all outreach, onboarding, sampling and gifting, and management of the influencer community
- Strategize and identify creative influencer marketing campaigns to support product launches and drive brand awareness and reach on Instagram and other social platforms
- Partner with the Performance Marketing team to identify  acquisition marketing opportunities through content created with influencers
- Create an organized and effective content pipeline from influencers that can be used on paid and organic channels
- Set influencers up for success by creating seeding guidelines and timelines, reviewing content, tracking go live dates, recording performance, and generating post campaign KPI reports
- Manage a team of interns to assist with seedings
- Maintain the influencer marketing and partnerships budget, in collaboration with the General Manager

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5+ years of social media marketing experience, including influencer marketing

Senior Manager/Director of Email Marketing

Job Overview
We are looking for a full-time Senior Manager/Director of Email Marketing to join the Jones Road Beauty team and report to the Director of E-commerce.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end CRM strategies to convert new users to first order, and to continuously engage and retain them throughout their lifecycle
- Own, track and continually improve key retention metrics, such as LTV, repeat purchase rates, and NPS
- Develop and test key email and SMS flows to maximize retention and LTV
- Analyze and segment customers in CRM to identify opportunities for personalization and customer value
- Lead strategy, execution, and analysis of email and sms marketing campaigns
- Continually test and optimize email open, click, and conversion rates
- Build and execute a strategy to reward VIPs
- Leverage email and SMS marketing automation tools to develop educational, transactional, and promotional content to maximize customer retention
- Collaborate with the Founder, GM, and Marketing and CX team to ensure that communications are on-brand and impactful
- Partner with the Marketing and CX teams to identify consumer insights to leverage in consumer segmentation and lifecycle marketing

Senior Growth Marketing Associate

Job Overview
We are looking for a full-time Senior Growth Marketing Associate to join the Jones Road Beauty team. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager and creative strategist who will work with the Director of E-Commerce to develop ads and fuel brand growth across all paid channels.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of E-Commerce  to develop and execute a paid strategy to support growth goals
- Manage in-house and external design teams to develop best-in class paid creative assets
- Build and maintain a database of content creators as partners for paid creative asset creation
- Write creative briefs for designers and content creators that align with Jones Road brand guidelines and internal marketing deadlines
- Devise and report on A/B creative tests
- Analyze cross-channel campaign performance and help to identify optimization opportunities based on data
- Construct, deploy, and optimize landing pages to be used across paid channels
- Assist the Director of E-Commerce with media buying tactics across all paid channels
- Analyze and report on marketing metrics to key stakeholders

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 2+ years of growth marketing experience required
- Experience working with content creators highly preferred
- 1+ years of Facebook ads or other media buying experience preferred
- Experience with Shopify, Builder.io, Google Optimize, and Unbounce preferred
- Experience in e-commerce, retail and/or direct-to-consumer preferred
- Proven track record of executing successful growth campaigns
- Superb multitasking skills and ability to focus on both details and big picture
