Welcome to fall and to my first editor’s letter.
Ever since I was a kid I looked forward to back to school time. Just the thought of a shiny new backpack, lunch box and perfectly sharpened pencils was the same as a great reset button. (Plus, it meant new clothes, new socks, and brand new underwear.) I vowed to keep up the homework and get good grades, and the fall was the perfect time to dive into all that.
September also marks the start of a regular routine — and I am someone who loves a routine. I’m all about a fresh start with good intentions and self-promises to do better. Just Bobbi is my way to constantly strive for better. To improve my habits and to try doing things a new way.
I have learned a lot since we started the site. I know women like me want tricks on how to dress or choose the best white t-shirt. And they want to know how to enjoy a nice cocktail without blowing their goals.
I’m not a great chef by any means, but am a “healthy foodie” and I appreciate people who can master the kitchen. I love sharing recipes.
I also know people turn to me for makeup tricks and techniques, and nothing makes me happier than to share them. I’m looking forward to doing more photo and video shoots to keep the site modern and inspirational. I’m grateful to my team who makes this site run and we truly love your feedback on what you want to see or learn more of. You can always let us know what you think by sending an email to contact@justbobbi.com or find me on Instagram, @justbobbibrown.
I find joy spending time with the people I love. And I’m learning I am in control even if I’m traveling or have accepted a lot of commitments. I’m embracing the elements of health and wellness that I practice as a part of my lifestyle, instead of waiting for things to quiet down. In other words: no cleanse, no detox, no new program or expert.
It’s all good.
