There’s a big wellness component at the spa, and many treatments incorporate locally-inspired healing traditions.
Viceroy Los Cabos
The newly opened Viceroy Los Cabos will appeal to anyone who loves the beach and dramatic architecture. The resort is located along the Sea of Cortez, and its focal point is the Nido restaurant. It’s crafted from a series of latticed timber and looks like a delicate nest floating on the water. The menu includes several types of ceviche and sashimi as well as handcrafted pisco cocktails.
Gurney’s Newport Resort and Marina, Rhode Island
Pack your Jack Rogers sandals for a stylish beach getaway to Newport. Gurney’s is located on Goat Island, between Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. This summer the hotel will host poolside pop ups from the likes of TopShop and The Daily Edited. Gurney’s has its own marina so feel free to dock your yacht outside. The hotel can also arrange a quick trip to its sister property on Montauk.
The Getaway, Carmel-by-the-Sea, California
This 34-room boutique hotel features fun, playful décor that fully embraces California beach lifestyle. The color palette is inspired by the sea and surrounding nature. Isla Palenque, Panama
There’s plenty of buzz around Panama these days, and one of the newest places to stay is Isla Palenque, now a part of the Cayuga Collection which focuses on sustainable and luxurious properties. Located in the Gulf of Chiriquí near Boca Chica, Isla Palenque is tucked on a private island resort with 400 acres of jungle and seven pristine beaches. The menus skew healthy too- order an ancient grain salad and treat yourself to a dragon fruit mojito.
