How to Use Makeup to Cover Up Age & Sun Spots on Your Face

If you’re dealing with age spots, sun spots, or uneven skin tone, you’re not alone—and there’s a solution. Start by making sure your skin is properly moisturized. I’m a big fan of the Jones Road Light Moisture Cream for everyday hydration.
If you have a lot of spots or areas to address, use Jones Road What the Foundation as you base. This has buildable, light-medium coverage and will leave your skin looking refreshed but not like you’re wearing a mask.
Next up, Jones Road Face Pencils. Use a Face Pencil shade that matches your skin tone exactly—not too pink, not too yellow. Similar to how you cover a blemish, you want a shade as close to your skin tone as possible to really hide these spots. If you use the wrong shade, you’ll just end up highlighting them more. The pencils give you really precise application, which is great if you just want to cover a few spots and don’t want to wear foundation. I recommend blending using your fingers for the most natural look.
