All About Eyes: The New Summer Smokey Eye
About the Look
Give the classic smokey eye an update for the summer with a sunset-inspired shade of peach. The key to a good smokey eye is to keep the rest of your look simple, with a focus on beautiful skin.
What you'll need (6-8 products)
#1: Prep the Skin
Start by applying moisturizer and Eye Cream. Touch up any redness and darkness under the eyes using your go-to Face Pencil shades. Keep in mind that you might need to adjust your shades in the summer if you tan easily.
#2: Smoke it Out
Apply The Best Eyeshadow in Peachy Nude across lids using the Eye Fluffy Brush. Continue to build color and intensity using the Eye Detail Brush. You can extend slightly beyond the crease towards the brow bone and outer corner of the eyes.
#3: Define
Whenever you’re using a peach- or pink-toned shade, adding definition around the eyes is key. Fill in any sparse areas of the brows using The Brow Pencil (Mollye wears Light Brunette) and finish with a few coats of The Mascara in Black.
#4: Subtle Shine
When it comes to the lips, keep it monochromatic by applying a little bit of the same Peachy Nude shadow to lips using your finger. Add Miracle Balm in Au Naturel on top for hydration.
