Bobbi's Ultimate 5-Minute Makeup Routine

Wherever you are, whoever you are, you can do your own makeup in just five minutes if you have all of your tools and products ready to go. In my next post for Tweezerman, I’m sharing my ultimate 5-minute makeup routine. Here’s how to get the look:

Skin

Start by using a Face Pencil or foundation to cover any redness (like around the mouth and nose), cover dark circles, and even out your skin tone. I like to use my fingers or a blush to apply products. You want to look like you have no makeup on when you’re done—the color should totally blend into your skin.

Brows

Next, I like to focus on the brows. Start by brushing your brows up using the Tweezerman Angled Brow Brush & Spoolie. Then take your Brow Pencil and use light, short, feathery strokes to fill in and add definition. If you want more control, use the angled end of that same brush and apply product directly from the pencil to your brows.

Eyes

Always curl your lashes first. This will help open up the eyes. The Classic Lash Curler from Tweezerman works on everyone and it comes with 3 replacement pads, which will last you about a year. After you curl, apply a few coats (I usually do 2-3) of black mascara, letting it dry between each coat. You can use the Tweezerman Folding iLashcomb to separate lashes and eliminate any clumpiness. I love using black mascara because it really makes eyes pop.

After mascara, apply a light color shadow all over your lids and if you want, add a liner for definition.

Cheeks & Lips

I’m a huge fan of pink. I’ll use the Lip and Cheek Stick and apply it to the apples of the cheeks and a little bit on the lips. Choose a shade that closely matches the color your cheeks turn when you pinch them or are naturally flushed.

You can finish the look with some gloss on lips and a little bit of sparkle on the eyes. Just five minutes and you’ll be out the door!
